You are referring to Huma Abedin, right? She is not Iranian. Her father (Syed Zainul Abedin) is from New Delhi, India and her mother (Saleha Mahmood Abedin) is from Pakistan. Her father graduated from the Aligarh Muslim University, which is renowned as the hub of Jihadists in India. I am not aware of any Iranian connections for her.
