Given that half of the human population are dumber than average, and if we estimate 25% of the population are dishonest (feel free to adjust this number, my view might be too cynical), he has 12.5% chance of being intentionally disingenuous.

First off. If by Gaussian distribution you're referring to statistics and probability, I'll stop you right there. These have got to be two of the biggest ever scams that have come to be accepted as science, they're a disgrace to Mathematics
