Over the long term the pool with the higher hashrate will find more blocks though, even if it's only one user mining.
Then whats the problem with maxminers.net then? Last 24h its 400% unlucky block found.
I am not a statistician but I have an opinion: luck. I agree with uowner, over time it's the hashrate
that will win.
The distribution of block time varies from 0 to infinity. Slow blocks can take mutiples of the average time
so a couple of very slow blocks would require a larger number of fast blocks to average out.
Let's look at an example of finding 2 blocks with a estimated TTF of 1 hour. The first blolck is found immediately
but the second takes 4 hours. That's an average of 2 hours/block even though the luck seems evenly distributed,
one very good, one very bad. It would take two more blocks found in zero time to match the average 1 hour TTF.
