im not sure about that, is there any difference from now?, i mean, most of the "net" people are owned by facebook, google, etc etc.... so in the end what they will change? we are already like that

Yes there is a difference. If you can't pay the penalties on your future genetically engineered lungs, you won't see the next sunrise. If facebook is down people get mad. If the future centralized system in charge of your heartbeat gets hacked, people will die...
