How we can say that there would be some routine hackers always the to dump some bitcoins at end of all the bumps. It is usual bitcoin users who want to trade time to time to make some profits. So, there will be very less chances for bitcoin prices continuously rising.
You are right, many people are only aiming for short-term target like $500 or $1000 or $1200. They never forget ( or even ignore ) about the real potential of bitcoins. In my opinion bitcoin prices will keep on raising but in long term.

Exactly. The potential of bitcoin is not a figure. The potential of bitcoin is freedom, Financial freedom. Out of the claws of the governement and the banks. They been controlling us for centuries now and bitcoin their goal will be futile.
