asking strangers to hand you bitcoin.. pretending its a loan.. before deciding to give up your gold(temporarily) to friend who are 'wealthy' and have some trust and knowledge about you.. umm.. theres a few holes in that mindset.
not even sure why you would be trying to talk your friends into a bitcoin deal when your current assets are gold and current liabilities are fiat.. neither of which have anything to do with bitcoin.
use the gold as collateral to get dollars from people you know..
Asking strangers their opinion on asking for assistance from people, when I had money earlier in life I donated all the time to peoples GoFundMe, but am simply asking whats the opinions and stigma behind asking for assistance.
I have found my answer, and it's that there is a big stigma and sense of embarrassment for asking for assistance to a community, even quite shaming

Bitcoins are too valuable no one will be willing to loan them out for less the 5% interest
