I always play small bets sometimes win and other times loose.Overall it has no effect on my life as this is pure based on fun.I have seen many people whose life was wrecked there are hundred of examples.Gambling and fixing life are two contrary things in my opinion.

Small bets will go to big bets if we cannot discipline ourselves in gambling. I have made that way before, I bet only 0.001 BTC in my sports book as it was the minimum bet, you know what happen? I got bored because nothing happen to my account significantly while betting so I decided to increase my bets but I lost therefore I chase and lost again my entire bankroll.
