Somebody apparently had a question about how I sleep at night:

Rassah would have you believe that the Bitcoin 100 is purely philanthropic and is extremely proud of mentioning that they've donated a whopping 4K to charities since they started over a year ago. They have almost double that amount that Rassah would rather refund to the donators than give to charities that have proven themselves unworthy by refusing to accept bitcoin donations. I honestly don't know how these people sleep at night.

First of all, they haven't "proven themselves unworthy," they simply have no means to accept it. I can't e-mail bitcoins, or send them by post. The charity actually has to have some way to receive it for us to be able to send it. And second, the answer as to why I would rather return the money, and how I can sleep with myself afterwards, is easy: IT'S NOT MY MONEY, AND IT'S NOT UP TO ME HOW I USE OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY. Nice to know there are other people out there who, when trusted with someone else's money, would just take it and use it for whatever the hell they feel like, thinking it's ok as long as it's for charity or their own personal cause. Frankly, that sounds a lot like government with taxes and social programs, so I could see why they would think it's ok. Sorry, I have a bit more integrity than that.
