There is a lot of talk about adoption, yet what I miss, is any talk regarding technological development...

"The last block update occurred 35 minutes ago". <-- this is just from a random transaction I did today, and still pending whilst writing this.
Quite likely, no merchant or customer is fond of waiting for more than half an hour, when buying let's say for instance a pack of bubble gum of whatever other goods with their AUR's...

If adoption is being targeted before resolving and countering technological issues as above, I highly doubt any true success potential irl...

Well, talking about technical development doesn't resolve anything. That's why we are actually working on technical improvements and provide those when they are finished. We do however discuss our development with our community, you can join those conversations on our official forum: http://auroraspjall.is/viewforum.php?f=8&sid=011a91d9b9883e5a531688233a061ac2

We like to find a good balance between adoption, usability and technology. We also stated before that we are not here to prove we are awesome technical innovators, there are hundreds of other coins that pursue that already.

The switch to multi-algo already improved our block times massively. We are now working on merchant solutions that will provide the tools to accept Auroracoin extremely easy and with 0 confirmation protocol those will be instant.

The "35min" block you are referring to took 17 minutes and 3 seconds btw Wink While most blocks (over 98%) are spot on within the 61 sec window Smiley
