it's so FUNNY ! on a hand, you are asking for freedom, no gov, no rules, decentralized shit and on the other hand you want the authority(gov) to put someone in jail because he ran with Bitcoin. 
why did "you"(those who lost Bitcoin) use an unlicensed exchanger? why didn't use Coinbase, Itbit, Gemeni, Circle(all these are licensed) ?

Plenty of people used cryptsy for years, there was nothing shady about it until near the end, just like gox. Using every exchange assumes a risk, so just get over your self, ok?
I understand that. They will do the same with Bitfinex, Kraken, BTC-e and similar others.
All these are unlicensed. They have NO responsibility toward to their clients. I will see the same shits ("plenty of people used XXXXX for years") when one of these will disappear(it will happen for sure). Ok, do you still want use them? Great! Do it but don't complain when something bad it's happening with "your" funds.
