He has had numerous publications on zkSNARKs, a topic that is central to the Zerocash protocol. Madars has presented his work at conferences across the world, including both the 2013 and 2014 International Cryptology Conference.

not if it has a backdoor.... there is always danger NSA has an entry point on demand.. and no one can compete with their mathematics talent pool... its a challenge for sure.. so when you say cook something inside.. maybe simpler is better.. after all people would be withdrawing cash right now from dash... by the millions.. so X11 and mixing must work and have been verified and you cloned it @100% fidelity.. so indeed same security for fraction of the cost, master node idea by them was brilliant must say...
X11 has ASIC devices on the market.. for some time now.. but difficulty is so high right now they dont care..
