Investments are very risky.You are a pretty smart newbie, holding now is one of the best thing you can do, I would not recommend you to invest with such low amounts plus the halving is also coming this year.
I would do the same, I will hold it today or save it but it is consider as investment since your investment is the time that you are going to wait for the
price increase after the halving. And that's a good way to get profit from your 1 btc easily.
I also would recommend to hold it till the halving has been done and than sell it for a good price if the price has been increased.
