At this point, all these years after it has started, this is still a technology under development. Bitcoin is more of an investment than a value store, imo. The point is, gold has intrinsic value, Bitcoin does not. Don't compare Bitcoin to commodities because it can't complete. Compare it to other worthless pieces of paper that have no value other than the value people agree to give it. Bitcoin = dollars is ok Bitcoin = gold not ok
