Thanks...it's fine now. I wanted to upgrade from Ubuntu 14.01 LTS to 16.04 LTS, but got screwed by a bad video driver on the first "leg" of the version-by-version stepping to get there. The nice part, though, is that doing a clean install with 16.04 went smoothly, and since all my software is open-source, it didn't take long to get everything back up. Core's been catching up since yesterday morning (had the whole history to scan). 24 wks behind at the moment.

I dumped almost everything MicroSloth (except Skype) mid-2015. Never looked back.  

EDIT: Wowzers...with spot doing what it is, dust could be more like $7.50 than $.05 by 1600...    AND...just saw Con's comment on the payments.  I had no clue that existed, but people will try anything. I'm also a bit foggy as to what they could do with it, but oh, well...
