In addition to above replies - not every blockchain has to be related to Bitcoin.
Many companies now using term blockchain technology to describe over 20 years old distributed database 
. They are just stupid, same thing was with cloud technology which is just sharing servers which was invented long ago.
Just fancy words. Real blockchain is bitcoin blockchain because its backed up by huge mining power. Blockchain without huge mining power (distributed one) is just a database.
