What we have said is extremely simple:
1) Software that people purchased is soon done
2) People can do whatever they want with their software
3) We can do whatever we want with the software
4) If the current IOTA community choose a different direction than us, that is entirely up to them and we will do the same
How anyone can misinterpret this is extraordinary
