"The question was if the client should be able to seamlessly upgrade from the old 0.8.0.4 version as 0.8.0.5 is SIGNIFICANTLY overhauled and the auto-updater has turned into a full on client management system. Which we've already found a way to make the upgrade seamless so the question is kinda null and void."

I support this, this is a nice feature.
