The difficulty I have with escrow is how to choose a trustworthy service. I've heard stories of individuals with reliable histories suddenly flaking out. Are there escrow services more dependable than individuals on the forum?
Just escrow with OgNasty. He will not flake.Not saying OgNasty would scam at all but you can never really be 100% the same person is behind the account right now, well I guess you could get signed messages to verify so that would help.
You can do all the cross checking you like but at the end of the day you have to put a little trust in someone when dealing like this.

100% true. Anyone can get hacked. However, I'm pretty confident that both of the aforementioned individuals run pretty f'in tight ships. They certainly aren't here on the forum on the same device/PC that they are conducting BTC tx's from, I'm fairly confident of that, only because I know how real computer security works as well.
As for your question about a new holo, sure, but pretty sure it will have to be your own/DIY. I gave my kid one, he loves it.
