You are right about that, altcoins mostly just disappear after some time but with the bitcoin this is not the point at all.
I would not mind if Mike would come back honestly.
Bitcoin is improving its popularity and supporting the users from different regions. You can compare with past years this is still continues driving on to the top. There many more users are using BTC as their full time job.
