Two MSI HD6870 twin frozr II (bios modded with rbe for low mem rate), a Sapphire HD5850, ancient ASRock K8SLI-eSATA2 with Sempron CPU, Linuxcoin usbstick, cgminer, uvnc remote administrated, wlan usbstick. I was a total linux noob but knowlege retrieved from this forum helped me to set up. Thanks guys for assistance, it were valuable hours! Soon sloppy MSI fans died and additional fans were equipped. Hours of testing resulted in maxed out MSIs 970 core and Sapphire 990 core, 370 mem both, stable, giving me around 1 Ghash/s. 100btc mined later, an inquiry from my energy provider and especially a horrific bill forced my to quit. Those were the days but that's ok, because there are mining operations to join in. Forget the old, greet the new!
