actually i am not surprised why you ask for that, because i spent many hours searching for same answer too, and turns out that answer is pretty simple, it is because of halving

because many people knows that bitcoin's price will rise after halving, and that is enough for them to buy lots of bitcoins and keep them in their wallets, just to sell them later
