It would be funny were it not for the fact that this kind of bullshit rips off noobs and people who frankly don't know any better. That harms us all because it puts people off investing in genuine projects like WAVES and the like.
It also slows down adoption of cryptocurrencies in general.
It took over a year for us to recover from the crap and shenanigans that were going on in 2014.
I think people like Placebo who continue to shamelessly plug this sort of crap and hope to profit off those who are ignorant should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
Well said about how it discourages potential new money coming into crypto. I myself started exactly the same way it maybe just took for me a bit quicker to filter everything out but not everyone have enough basics and determination.
But if you look at the bright side-in crypto only smartest survive(don't put myself in that category though) and stay. Quality over quantity is the bright side of it-later or sooner cryptos will become mainstream.
