Can you just overwrite the current files if you are using the lite version from GitHub? Also, where is the wallet.dat stored (for backup purposes)?

If you want to start using Waves wallet but you are not sure how it works -

*Download the latest version. See the release date.
How to update the wallet? Make sure that you have a copy of the Seed. Close wallet. Just download the new archive, unzip it and then you can delete the old folder.
