I'm just looking for those who are soldiers on the line keeping up with
all the most modern things going on with bitcoin... As well as opportunities
that are worthwhile...

. You have to realize it is very vague so far. So what is club geared to? Looking at first "I'm looking to get some decent mentors/team/online friends to join as this bitcoin" it is very broad. To know all things at expert level on bitcoin is hard.
If you find what your looking for like trading, mining, holding, speculating, etc. I think you will have better luck. It is a neat idea to get mentors for some new users to help guide the way. But I think you will need to narrow focus a little.
At this point I have no direction I want to go... I think I'll focus at getting into coin trading...
Are you looking to create a website that sells a service or product? Or are you wanting to join a pump group or something? Its a little confusing to know what your looking for from your description.
