Trading is surely a great idea. But without experience you can get lost. The thing is crypto currency trading is really easy to get started with, but lack of knowledge is what makes trading worse. One little advice, do not hold altcoins for long, you'll only end up losing money in that way. Btw I'm a devop(PHP & Python) also and trading is something that I like.
