earning with a blog is all about the traffic you can get. so you have two options here in order to earn anything through blogs:
1) posting articles (blog posts) that are interesting and can get readers to come to your blog and read then (the traffic) and earn through the advertisement.
2) posting some links to your affiliate link, or things like that which can generate you money when people click on them
