Would agree BTC or Bitcoin has no real diffrence what way you say it. the value is the main thing 
the OP is asking it because he is trying to correct the grammar of people about the word bitcoin, as more people are doing that mistake, so beside the value we have to think about all the other things about bitcoin also.
Yes I seen that OP wants to correct the grammar, others just don't care or even do research about something. Other just rely on what they knew, it is a good thing to know not only the spelling and ticker of bitcoin, or price and speculations, it is also important to know other things around Bitcoin especially it's technology and advantages it give.
