Because if Fiat will devalue drastically on a global scale ... the exchanges will not have any leverage!I don't think they will allow themselves being left holding the bag ....
who hold enough fiat to devalue it, won't buy bitcoin and people don't need bitcoin enough for fiat to be devalued. Only people who need bitcoin are prostitutes, drug dealers and inmates. We have that going for us, which is nice. However if bitcoin exists long enough, fiat is guaranteed to be devalued because of bitcoin. But currently bitcoin is for the under-serviced.
