so, can i just sell all of my amber to this "AMBER company" (or should i call it imaginary "AMBER") and get back my 1.46 BTC ?
No that is not possible anymore as far as I can tell. It was possible untill March.If so, that means that word of AmberTrade is worth nothing. Investment protection were officially promised and now it is cancelled? Where is investor's trust? It must be a misunderstanding.

It was valid until March 2016.
This program was supposed to be a protection for early investors during the first year of company existence.
During this first year it was used less than 5 times by company's shareholders.
So this program has completed its mission.
I know that now the new Dividends Policy is being developed by the company.
Most likely it will be published right after Q1/Q2 dividends payouts in the end of July.
There should be all information.
I personally did never see the terms for for the investestment protection program, so I cant comment on what was or wasnt promised.
well, i've never seen this too. 1 thing i just realized is when the first time i contacted amber team and decided to be a shareholder, they never give me information or prompt me about the terms and conditions which is very suspicious imo. i just realized about it because i've just learned after i joined several programs similar to this which always prompt me to re-read T&C at least twice.
