I sure am glad I don't use online exchanges. Learned my lesson with Gox. It's paper wallets for me.

But where do you get your coins? I mean, transferring them instantly to a paper wallet is best practice if you're in for the long run, but you first have to obtain them.

I got my coin this morning from a LaMassu ATM at Toronto Gold on Bloor St. near Ossington. Their fees are as low as you'll find in Toronto and it is fully anonymous.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have a printer so there's no receipt and you have to bring your own paper wallet or mobile device with a wallet program for the ATM to scan. I print my own paper wallets on a PC and printer that have never been and cannot be connected to the internet. Printer spooling buffers can be hacked.
