I think it's too risky to buy Litecoin at this time. New crypto-currencies offer something new but Litecoin doesn't even have any upgrades and new offerings. It's pure speculation but I don't think it'll go over 10$ again, ever.
Upgrades and offerings are irrelevant to what makes a good currency. Is the US Dollar or Euro a bad currency because it doesn't have any upgrades or new offerings?
What happen with a lite coin, for now, it is not worthwhile. You just waste your funds if want to invest on the lite coin. another crypto has a great future rather than LTC.
