Yes, that's an example, just invest in some altcoin and wait for it to rise in value and then sell it.
But 20 dollars won't get you far, plus you'd risk losing money if the altcoin in question drops.

I would not look at investing those bitcoins just yet, keep working at improving your skills and just work to get more Bitcoins that way.
