This is my first time compiling a windows wallet, so let me know if you have any trouble. I tried it on a couple of machines and it worked well for me.

No connections. Doesn't show as out of sync like it should. Debug window says the last found block was June 28th 2015.. lol.

Yeah, I've seen that in the other versions of the wallet, too. Give it some addnodes and let it sync and it should be fine after that.

I don't know how to do that. I assume in my roaming folder somewhere. I'll see if I can figure it out.

There should be a folder called "cosmic" in your Roaming folder. Inside that folder, create a file called "cosmic.conf" and put the addnodes in there, and I think that should do it.
