What I do not understand is how Fibo shares the revenue with the artist if the users are allowed to upload any music file they have on their computers?
Any uploaded song will go through approval process, that involves:
- Extract file metadata
- Checking authenticity
- Categorize song by artist, track name, quality
- Request approval and pricing from labels
After the label sets its pricing the song will be ready for stream through Fibo.
Just a tip, but it might be a good idea to first contact artists who release their songs under a permissive Creative Commons license.
I'm guessing they would be much more open to the idea then already established artists.
