How about Perl? It might be loosing a bit in popularity recently but it's still a very powerful and expressive language, arguably more so than many others.
The question isn't really about whether the language is good or not, I'm sure Perl is.It's about whether your module will be used a lot or not. I have yet to be convinced about Perl in this particular case
