You could easily earn 1 bitcoin in a year from this forum. Create a few accounts and join a signature campaign then sell them or something. You could also try sell goods/items you have that you don't need any more

It's a good idea So far the only good way of earning bitcoins is buy running the signature campaigns here on bitcointalk. It is far much better than clicking on faucets. If have quality posts and are consistent, then earning even more than 1 btc per year will be realized.

yes but faucets is just a slow process and time consumers. i think faucets is better for the newbie only. if you really want to earn money in a fast mood then try gambling but a risky game you can even lost your own money there.

Those two suggestion is not a good idea because you said that faucet is slow process and it only gives small amount of satoshi. Also gambling is not a good suggestion for a newbie because all satoshi that he got on faucet might be loose in just a couple round in the game. It's better to invest your own money to bitcoin and buy at least member rank account so that you can earn good amount of bitcoin per day. It's just my opinion Grin

Definitely, if you are going to earn with faucets with by just the usual way of it. Then you are just simply wasting your time.
But still, earning 1 btc a year with faucet is also possible, how? You need to invest and you must build up your own faucet and must have to target a lot of visitors daily to your faucet so that you can attract advertisers and from them you are going to earn higher than 1 btc a year.
