I do agree that seals management should come here and make a statement and man up, hopefully they are too busy fixing the site.

I think a lot of players have confidence in SwC because the original SealsWithClubs had a long history of honesty and integrity. Just remember that SwC 2.0 has completely different ownership, management, support, and software. As far as I know, there are no holdovers from the original SealsWithClubs.
If SwC opened a year ago under any other name, the ineptitude, mismanagement, and false promises would have forced the site to shut down within a couple of months. The fact they are still (barely) in business is pretty much a product of a misplaced sense of loyalty that some players feel towards the new site. Slightly irrational since the people who earned this trust in their operation of the original Seals have nothing to do with this new site. The only thing that SwC 2.0 has demonstrated is an appalling level of apathy towards how players feel about their numerous missteps.
The track-record for this version of SwC is only about a year long and it is almost entirely negative. The only thing they have not yet done is outright steal, and their incredibly apparent financial troubles make me nervous that theft in the future isn't totally out of the realm of possibilities.

I believe when SwC 2.0 first started, Micon stated that there were no holdovers from the original Seals management/development team except himself. Since he is also gone from SwC 2.0, it seems pretty clear that there are no original Seals ownership/management/development persons still on board at the new site. I also don't think you know the definition of the word "accusation" or "baseless". The little snippet that you quoted, bolded, and responded to isn't an accusation. That statement doesn't imply that I think they've outright stolen, but rather that the circumstances make me nervous about the potential of something like that occurring. It's also not baseless, because look, here's the base: "their incredibly apparent financial troubles". People in dire circumstances have been known to steal, particularly in the BTC-economy.
I've lost faaaaaaaar more on the original Seals and I never spoke out against their management. I loved it there. I don't play poker to support myself; I don't have any pressure. I can afford to gamble/lose whatever amount I deposit anywhere. Yes, I tilt and I get frustrated sometimes. I also say a lot of stuff in the heat of the moment. But my recent comments on SwC has nothing to do with wins or losses, or tilt.
I don't think "well, it's not the worst out there" is a really convincing argument and at this point, it seems that SwC gives no fucks about their customers either.
Also, just because they're not on here making public statements does not mean that they don't hear the complaints, and every one of your concerns has been addressed in the main chat in seals, multiple times. They know they fucked up by not running the 20k krillroll and have already said that they will run one soon with ample notice.
First, it's more than strange that a site that desperately needs new people to join won't comment on its most public platform with any meaningful remarks concerning complaints and dissatisfaction.Second, saying "Yup, we fucked you, but don't worry, something good will happen later on maybe" isn't addressing concerns. Any statements made have been more or less this vague. Sorry for not buying "later" as a well-thought-out plan. The site hasn't fixed or added the numerous things that they have been "addressing" since SwC 2.0 opened. They "addressed" new clients, "addressed" hand history fixes, "addressed" disconnect issues many months ago....weird that nothing actually happened with any of those issues.
Maybe they'll bring back the 20k, maybe with it's prize slashed again....they sure as hell aren't going to bring back the $ value of all the promos that they just cut tho (nor does it seem like they can scrape up the money to afford to.)
Last, in the past few days alone, there have been like 20+ posts made by more than half a dozen people voicing their concerns about SwC. I'm not sure why you decided to attack me personally when there are just as many people in here saying variations of the same thing I am.
