Never gamble if you're trying to make money, ever. You are far, far, far more likely to lose everything and not make any money, and proceed to lose everything that you may have earned from other means. It might be a good idea to throw a few dollars into a lottery or raffle every here and there, but aside from that constant gambling is something I would advise against due to a lot of the improbability of making money.

Gambling for fun is always great, though.
