I do not think they are too stupid for using the bitcoin, the most are just way too scared to do it in my eyes.
They are scared to lose money with investing into the bitcoin itself, I'm really thinking this.
I don't think that there is any risk in investing in bitcoin, but if you invest in any online site then you need to be very careful as there are many ponzi sites around at a moment which can scam you in long run.
