I'm biased negatively towards DirectBet because of multiple bad experiences. Their customer service (responses) have been professional, thought out, and overall good. However, I feel cheated and in a "lose lose" situation when I bet on their book. If I bet 50 ETH and I send an e-mail about the 50 ETH staying in their wallet for 4 hours (requiring manual intervention on their end) and not confirming my bet, all I ask is for a TIMELY response back. I think 4 hours to respond is not reasonable. Especially when I'm over 2500 ETH put in play in July alone. Oh, and then there's the fact that my 3:1 parlay won and didn't get paid out. 
I've used Nitrogen and I've had great experiences so far. The only reason I'm using DirectBet is because of ETH, but I'm sure that will change soon.

KoSoVar made a 50 ETH 3 team parlay bet with DirectBet. After two games won, DB canceled the wager.
KoSoVar sent an email 1 hour prior to the first game. DB didn't reply until 4 hours later.
Just to clarify some more.
I made 3 x 50 ETH bets on this parlay. The 3rd bet was stuck in limbo for 4 hours until I got a response. By the time it was responded to, 2 of my teams had already won. I ended up winning the parlay (3.34x) on 100 ETH, but the final wager of 50 ETH was returned shortly before the 3rd game result was finalized with the reasoning that their system malfunctioned and it is stated in their rules that this can happen. But my 100 ETH bet was in play.
My argument is that if I had bet another 50 ETH this could have easily screwed me over as my risk tolerance for this specific bet was 150 ETH. If 1 minute before the game started, I couldn't say "I only want to bet 150 ETH, but I sent you 200, and you processed 200 ETH...".
