This happens a lot of times in other forms, books suspending play, just as you are about to place bets. Or in some cases, the entire event disappears completely, only to reappear later at different odds (I am looking @ you directbet.eu). Sometimes the result goes for you, other times against.

However, directbet.eu should ensure things like this don't happen. And the free bet they offered as compensation could be better.
