People get addicted really easily, the reason they do is because they will win very small amount really fast, which leads people to thinking, maybe if I keep this up I might win big because I saw this guy on TV/magazine win big. Then after that, more that likely they lose all money, or most money. They might break even or even will very small amounts. It's just that most people have the mentality of thinking they will win big.
Thats a common experience by gamblers but honestly you will never make any profit in gambling because gambling made to give fun to people..
Gambling is for fun not to make a profit.. people are addicted to gambling because you are making fun and you have a chance to make to win huge amount.. but end up losing.
