It will take time..... the Previous halving did'nt rise its value instantly.... Just be optimistic enough to handle your hopes and never give up.... Surely it will rise it may need some time.
I believe that the previous halving actually resulted in a crash in the price of BTC not long after the halving and the price actually peaked prior to the halving.
It was no secret that supply of new Bitcoin was about to decline after ~today, and the market was able to price that in ahead of time accordingly. I suspect that a decent amount of the recent run up in price was due to people anticipating the future decline in additional supply, and some of these buyers may wish to sell now that the halving has happened.
