Let me correct myself. Being in that kind of bussines, I know how much it costs to make a proper asic machine - what avalon made is more of a fpga/asic clone. Avalon delivered 5 items, there is no kind of guarantee that they will deliver all. In ASICminer i believed, since he was planing to spend much more money on development. Basic screwed people over, I believe BFL will too. And I think that avalon first mines with the devices, and then sends them over when all hell breaks loose, so that people who get them will be screwed and never break even. So we didnt say its impossible, its sure as hell was possible at that moment when they announced them, just not for that kind of money.
