Stats and history are completely against Portugal, but I feel many people (including pundits) are being too harsh in saying we have zero chance and "are crap".
I feel the two crucial aspects of the game aren't in midfield, rather in the defense/attackers duel: Pepe/Fonte vs Griez/Giroud and Umtiti/Kosc vs Ronaldo/Nani. If Ronaldo has a great game, France will definitely be in trouble. Likewise for Griezmann.
IF ronaldo has a great game and you could say the opposite thing for griezman as well. The last match against wales was great, ronaldo was having great game and carry the whole team to win it however if ronaldo is tightly marked by two or more player then portugal will be losing this game no matter what nani does
