Going down for brief maintenance, back soon.
We are requiring a seed change for security reasons. More to come
Now when I start betting am asked to change seed. I don't know how to go about and it looks like before I change the seed I cannot bet. How do I get the client seed? I am trying to go round the site but I cannot comprehend anything.
http://myprintscreen.com/s/ekb6/1212eae466They expect everyone to understand what a seed is.
Pretty silly if you ask me.
Click fairness at the top then click randomize client seed
Under "New Client Seed"
Put in some random letters and numbers (about 25 characters)and hit "change seed"
Nothing silly about it really. I'm going to go by a long shot and say you probably also don't know what house edge is? ROI? + or -EV either? These are are basic terms you should know before you start gambling. Simple google search will take you from uneducated to better informed. Suggest you go do it and then get back to us only after you know more.
what's that fuck with the seed change --> Provably unfair. Can you than at least refund my latest red streak on my old seed, its about .22 BTC
Thx
Actually no. It's still provably fair. Remember that rolls are independant (thanks hui and unixpunk). Only thing happening now is that you can verify your rolls earlier than expected (perhaps breach of TOS as well). Roll outcomes are still the same.

Once the seed has been changed it cannot be replaced with the previous one cause you would then figure out the rolls.
This proves that these dice sites are able to figure out our rol ls
They of course know our rolls but they don't know our
choices. You can bet anything you like, so it's fair in this case at least.
If you leave your client seed the same, then I suppose its possible to know what the outcome will be before it happens. However it was never actually proven.
Yep, they have the Server seed sha-256 hash. In theory if they wanted to, they could know the rolls beforehand. That being said, they could not change the outcome of the rolls, and if they were tricksy (gollum voice) then we would catch them out of course seeing as though we have provably fair and can confirm foul play within seconds.
