Well, I would have to say that it might not actually drop any further than $1 as I'm pretty sure the demand would skyrocket at that time and the supply would easily run out. With that, I don't see the chance of bitcoin's value fluctuating even further.
I would have to join in the hoarding season as well because I'd want to make profit myself.
