The example you gave was in response to what i said : "I don't see how creating an extra 9 steem out of thin air to compensate for a dropping steem price does anything to solve hyperinflation, it actually makes it a lot worse."

Your were so confused that that you needed to understand this simple fact...
If you have STEEM you are not protected from "hyperinflation" if you have powered up to STEEM POWER you are protected from hyperinflation, as simple as that.
You din't even knew the simple differences between STEEM and STEEM POWER. I think we are making some slow, but good progress.
