easiest way to reach 1 bitcoins is to first rank your account up all the way to legendary by posting constructively and after join a high pay signature and never worry about sending out coins just get paid to your bitcoin address for posting simply and easily only one idea to keep in mind is spamming is the number one cause for users getting kicked out of sig campaigns don't be that guy. 
That's a very time consuming task. If you have 3 years then sure do that, but if you want to do it within a short time frame and you want it 'free'
Then faucets/ and campaigns are the only way to achieve this goal.
So yeah, in the end it's better just to work for it...
I don't think so you need to become legendary first to participate in a signature campaign? most of signature campaign pay the same rate for SR member to legendary member so there is not any sense to wait for 3 years and become legendary before joining signature campaign.
if you are a good poster you can join a signature campaign even with Jr member rank, you can earn money while building your rank, there is nothing better then that.
and when you become legendary after 3 years you'll surely have 6 to 7 bitcoins from signature campaigns.
