Since the biggest part of the maintenance fee is electricity, it begs the question why the maintenance fee in China is higher than in Washington, when electricity prices in China are FAR cheaper. And what about other factors to consider when calculating a maintenance fee? Cost of labor? Cheaper in China. Real estate cost / rent for the space? Cheaper in China. Additional parts you may require, like cables, fans, everything to keep your operation going? Cheaper in China.
So why is the Hashnest maintenance fee higher than the fee of a USA data center? That's the question to consider. And I think the answer might be a built in profit margin in the Hashnest maintenance fee.
